What currency are your products in?

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD)

A product I want is out of stock, how do I get notified when it's re-stocked?

On the product page, simply click on "Notify Me", add your email address, and you will be the first to know via email as soon as more product becomes available

How do I purchase a gift card?

The Prairie Mercantile offers $25, $50, $100 and $200 gift cards available for purchase here.

An email with the e-gift card will be sent to the email address included at checkout. This e-card can be forwarded on to a new email address or printed out.

How do I redeem my gift card?

Gift cards can be redeemed at checkout. If your order is less than your gift card amount the remainder can be used on following orders until it is completely used.


What payment methods do you accept for purchases?

At the last step of checkout you'll be prompted to enter your credit card information to pay for your order. We accept MasterCard and Visa.

I changed my mind, can I change/cancel my order?

All sales are final. This includes items in our "As Is" collection, that are already sold with minor imperfections - which are disclosed in detail on the product page and are sold at a discounted price accordingly. Once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled and items within your cart cannot be removed or exchanged. Although you can add more items to your order to save on the cost of shipping two orders.

You can do so by:

1. Place another order through the website

2. Select "Free Local Shipping" as your shipping option

3. Email us at , Subject line "Combine Orders", and in the email body include the two orders you wish to combine in shipping

How quickly are orders processed?

Orders are processed and shipped 3-5 business days after being placed, but please keep in mind - we're "real" women just like you! Sick kiddo's, winter blizzards, busy spring seeding season, family gatherings and well... life, happens to us just like everyone else. 3-5 days might turn into 5-7 days every once in a while and we hope you're understanding of any delays that might happen on our end. But our ultimate goal is to ship out orders as quickly as possible.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation email. What should I do?

Tech happens! Whether it be a glitch at checkout and the order didn't go through OR a glitch in our automated system that didn't initiate an order confirmation email, please email us at and we'd be happy to look into this for you. Please note that all orders are processed within 3-5 business days, and an email will be sent once it's ready for pickup OR when it ships out through Canada Post.

There was an issue with my order, what should I do?

Oh shoot, we're so sorry to hear that. Please email us at, let us know your order number, the issue and images supporting your claim, and we'll work with you to make it right.

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?

No sweat, all orders are shipped with tracking and insurance in case damage occurs during shipping. Please contact us at with images of the damaged product and we'll work with you to make it right.


How long will it take for my order to ship?

All orders are shipped through Canada Post from Rose Valley, SK. Depending on your location, the shipping time may vary but all orders will have tracking numbers and you can track your order as it makes it's way to your home.
